Updating Audi MMI
To optimize your infotainment experience, you always have the possibility to update the MMI system. You will need your vehicle identification number (VIN), a 17-digit number usually located in the driver’s door jamb, and a SD card. With your VIN, you can register on my.audi.com. From there you’ll have access to all of Audi’s digital services, including updates, which you can download on your SD card. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to transfer those updates to your Audi by inserting the card into a SD port, located behind the MMI knob on the center console. On your car’s screen, select Menu> Setup MMI> System Update and choose SD location.
